![]() Love in person-product relationships In this ongoing PhD research, we try to understand the dynamics of person-product loving relationships: how people build, develop, and (eventually) end highly emotional relationships with loved products. In this context, LOVE is a dynamic, long-term relationship people build and carry on with 'special' products they own and use. More specifically, we try to understand how interactions people and products enact throughout their relationship and how specific events can influence (both positively and negatively) people's experience of love. For that, we have developed the Experience Interaction Tool (EXITool), a tool that informs participants of interactions and help them report their interactions and experiences in relationship events. Our goal is to construct a person-product love framework that is useful to those who aim to design for 'love' in person-product context, both industry and education.
